Throwback: It's April 2022, I have handed in my notice as manager at a high end opticians in Lytham and decided I wanted to provide beautiful eyewear like I had been providing, but at affordable prices so that everybody can afford the pair of spectacles they want!
With this pipe dream in mind, me and Nan decided to go view an empty premises (formerly Estate Agents) on Tithebarn Street, Poulton-le-Fylde.

After witnessing, what can only be described as sheer terror and panic, on Nan's face at the dismal mess that lay before her, Nan smiled in polite encouragement at such a project. Within that moment I decided that this was a chaotic yet brilliant idea - and to sign the lease on 10 Tithebarn Street!
The evolution was not straightforward - but we made it!
4 months forward, My Glasses Shop officially opened its doors!
Over the past year, we have improved our shop with new renovations - with a new sunglasses experience room and shop frontage coming soon to Winter 2023.
We have invested in brands exclusive to the area and expanded to one of the largest collections of eyewear in the North West. (Including the latest season Prada first releases, Tom Ford and Victoria Beckham)!
We’ve achieved 5* reviews on Facebook, TrustPilot and Google.
And during the whole of this process… we have met the most wonderful customers - turned friends! To which - none of this would have been possible.
